Ford Probe Owners Club (UK)

In November 1999 our founder member, Paul Player, bought a 24V Ford Probe and was disappointed to find that the Probe was not supported by an owners club in the UK. There also seemed to be very little in the way of after-market support so he decided to create a web site and the Ford Probe Owners Club (UK).

In July 2001, with a membership of over 300, Paul decided to hand some of his responsibilities to various members of the club. A list of these responsibilities can be seen on our contact page

The club and its web site have become very well known as a valuable resource of information regarding fixes to common problems. Sadly, most Probes suffer from a number of very common faults, but help is always at hand through the Ford Probe Owners Club (UK).

Through bitter experience, the majority of Probe owners will tell you that main dealer support is at best, poor. That is why it is important for us to share our knowledge so that we can keep these fantastic cars on the road and looking great!

Did you know? The Ford Probe is based on the chassis and mechanics of the Mazda MX6. This is why we recognise Mazda MX6 owners and welcome them to the club too.

We attend many shows throught the year and also members and enthusiasts arrange local meets too. These meets are great fun. A Ford Probe is a head turner, but 15 Ford Probes in convoy is something else!! Check out our show and mini-meet reports here.

The Ford Probe Owners Club is intended for like minded people to register their interest in the Ford Probe, arrange meetings, swap ideas and technical information. If you wish to join us please click here.
